In all, 147 SLV non-profit organizations received a portion of the $25,000 designated by SLVFB’s Board of Directors.

Started in 1999, the Spirit of Giving program allows the SLVFB’s customers to cast one vote per account to designate a share of the funds to be donated to their favorite SLV community non-profit organization. From Thanksgiving to Christmas a total of 2,405 votes were submitted, with each vote counting for $10.40.  The total amount designated by SLVFB Board of Directors will increase to $30,000 for the 2016 year.  We strongly believe in this program and cherish the participation that it brings to our community. It is very exciting to see our customers vote and cheer on their favorite non-profit organization.
