San Luis Valley Federal Bank is a community bank with an emphasis on providing extraordinary customer service. As a mutual thrift, the bank's deposit customers are members of the bank and have voting rights at the bank's annual meeting. We're an equal opportunity employer with 64 full-time employees and 3 convenient offices, 2 in Alamosa and 1 office in Monte Vista, Colorado. We are a federally chartered, mutual thrift with $183 million in total assets. We have been providing banking services to residents of Colorado's San Luis Valley since 1899. We presently accept deposits only from residents of the San Luis Valley and offer loan services only in the six counties of the San Luis Valley.

The bank currently has a capital-to-liability ratio of 16.38%, far in excess of regulatory requirements and considerably greater than any other financial institution in the bank’s market area.
